Veneers
A simple, effective way to transform the appearance of your smile.
What is a veneer?
A veneer is a thin layer of tooth-coloured material placed over the front surface of your natural tooth to improve its appearance. Veneers are used to mask permanently stained teeth, close gaps between teeth, straighten the appearance of misaligned teeth, and improve the look of damaged or broken teeth.

What to expect
The process begins with a consultation where you discuss your concerns and what you would like improved. From there, a diagnostic wax-up is made of your teeth — impressions are sent to the laboratory, and our technician creates a cast showing exactly how your teeth will look with veneers in place. You see the outcome before committing to anything.
If you decide to proceed, the treatment is completed over two appointments. At the first, a small amount of enamel is removed from the front surface of each tooth to make room for the veneer, impressions are taken, and temporary veneers are fitted to protect the teeth while your veneers are being handcrafted in the laboratory — a process that takes two to three weeks. At the second appointment, the temporaries are removed, each veneer is trialled and any adjustments made, then permanently cemented in place.
